About the Role: Our client is searching for an experienced Human Rights Lawyer to join their dynamic team in London. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience in human rights law, with a proven track record of handling complex cases and advocating for justice. As a Human Rights Lawyer, you will play a pivotal role in researching, analyzing, and litigating human rights issues, both domestically and internationally. You will collaborate closely with clients, stakeholders, and colleagues to develop strategic legal approaches and drive positive outcomes.


  • Conducting legal research on human rights issues and relevant case law
  • Drafting legal documents, including briefs, petitions, and submissions to courts and tribunals
  • Representing clients in court proceedings, hearings, and negotiations
  • Providing expert legal advice and guidance to clients on human rights matters
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, partner organizations, and other stakeholders
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of advocacy campaigns and initiatives
  • Staying abreast of legal developments and trends in human rights law

About You:

  • Qualified solicitor or barrister with a minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience in human rights law
  • Strong knowledge of domestic and international human rights frameworks, conventions, and jurisprudence
  • Excellent legal research, writing, and advocacy skills
  • Proven ability to handle a diverse caseload and work effectively under pressure
  • Demonstrated commitment to social justice, equality, and human rights principles
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Fluency in English; additional language skills are desirable but not essential
