About the Role: Our client is seeking an experienced Environmental Lawyer to join their dynamic team in London. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience in environmental law. As an Environmental Lawyer, you will be responsible for advising clients on a wide range of environmental matters, including regulatory compliance, permitting, due diligence, and environmental litigation. You will work closely with clients to develop strategic solutions that align with their business objectives while ensuring compliance with environmental laws and regulations.


  • Provide legal advice and guidance on environmental issues to clients across various sectors.
  • Conduct legal research and analysis to support client matters.
  • Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, permits, and compliance reports.
  • Represent clients in negotiations, hearings, and court proceedings related to environmental matters.
  • Stay abreast of changes in environmental laws and regulations and advise clients accordingly.
  • Collaborate with colleagues across practice areas to provide comprehensive legal solutions.

About You:

  • Qualified solicitor with a minimum of 5 years of post-qualification experience in environmental law.
  • Strong knowledge of environmental laws and regulations, including but not limited to environmental permitting, pollution control, waste management, and climate change.
  • Excellent analytical, research, and drafting skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex legal issues effectively to clients and colleagues.
  • Proven track record of providing high-quality legal advice and achieving favorable outcomes for clients.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
